I study how CO2 dissolves and moves through rock formations, research that directly informs the long-term safety of geological carbon storage.

PhD-trained researcher in CO2 storage and climate change mitigation, with expertise in multiphase flow, complex-fluid thermodynamics, and transport in porous media. My work integrates optical techniques, including shadowgraphy and laser-induced fluorescence, with X-ray computed tomography (CT) imaging to study convective dissolution and subsurface fluid dynamics. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at UPPA’s DMEX lab, where I investigate the convective dissolution of CO2 in reservoir rocks for CO2 storage applications.
